I work with found images that have a structure that I respond to, and feel I can use to convey my message. It could be absolutely any image. My work is about life mirroring the alchemic process. I'm dealing with Theo alchemy, the spiritual side of alchemy. I use it as a metaphor for my own spiritual journey through life. I am also very conscious of the self-reflexivity of studio practice that simultaneously opens me to factors of chance and synchronicity, improvisation and intuition.
